You are the leader of a small resistance group, which includes the most ordinary people – Jews and Catholics, communists and patriots – who simply cannot turn a blind eye to what is happening. Your job is to deal tiny blows to the regime: drop leaflets to tell people what the Nazis are really up to; write messages on the walls; arrange sabotage; obtain information and recruit new associates. And at the same time, do not give yourself away: if the regime finds out about your group, the life of every member of it will be in danger. Through the Darkest of Times is a historical strategy game about the resistance movement in the darkest period of history and the true life of ordinary people of the Third Reich. Historical accuracy means that your small group will not change the outcome of the war – and will not prevent all Nazi atrocities. However, you will be able to do everything to save as many lives as possible and confront the system at every opportunity.
